Key Dates 2024 

Trimesters are a study period that consists of thirteen (13) study weeks and two (2) examination weeks. There are two (2) compulsory trimesters within a calendar year and one optional summer trimester.

Census Date is the the final day of the enrollment intake for domestic students to withdraw without being charged tuition fees. International students may only withdraw from a course if they have been affected by circumstances outside of their control.

Last Withdrawal Date is the last day to withdraw from a unit. If you withdraw from a Unit by this date, you are still liable to pay the fees, but you will receive Withdrawn Fail(WF) grade instead of a Fail(F) grade.

Academic Withdrawal Date is the last day to cancel the subject without academic penalty. If you withdraw from a Unit by this date, you are still liable to pay the fees, but you will receive Withdrawn(WD) grade instead of a Fail(F) grade.

Mid-Trimester Exam Week falls on Week 8 and whether exams are part of the assessment for your specific unit varies.

Examination week falls on Week 15.

Trimester End date is the Study Period Break start date.

Result release date is the day your results will be finalised by the Examiner's Board and published in your Student Portal.
