Assessment of prior learning and consideration for credit based on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be conducted by the Dean or Dean's nominee.

Articulation Credit Transfer Arrangements

A student may be granted advanced standing for an equivalent subject studied in another institution where this unit was successfully completed towards a similar or related degree, or through other significant learning which the Dean or the Dean’s nominee considers equivalent.

All credit transfer arrangements will be subject to the
SS016 Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.

Recognition of Prior Learning

NAPS may recognise prior formal, informal and non-formal learning for the purpose of granting credit towards, or admission into, a program.

Prospective students who wish to apply for RPL must indicate this intent on the Student Application Form and also complete the Recognition of Prior Learning Form.

These forms must then be submitted to the Admissions Office with the relevant supporting documents.

See the SS016 Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy and its associated Procedures and Guidelines for full details.
